Easter 2014 (or, as we like to think of it, Hamapalooza #1)

Easter is a very traditional meal here in Yonkers and, as we do most years, we had ham, a gratin of potatoes with gruyère, and, in a radical departure from past years, we had our house version of succotash... lima beans, corn, sage and red pepper flakes... instead of asparagus.

I followed the package directions to heat it, but I DID NOT slather on the disgusting sugar glaze that came with...

And, truly, it was one of the best "grocery store" hams I've ever tasted!
